Common questions

Do I need to buy a plan to see my property tax analysis?
No. You can see your estimated savings and how your home compares to similar nearby homes for free — just enter your address. A plan is only needed when you're ready to unlock the full protest report (with detailed comparables and the unequal-appraisal argument) that you submit as evidence.
What does "comparables" mean, and why would I want 5?
Comparables are similar nearby homes used as evidence that your assessed value is too high. Pro and Max let you include up to five, which produces a more defensible value that's harder for the appraisal review board to dismiss.
Can I protest more than one property?
Yes — the Max plan includes two reports, and you can add more properties for $39 each.
What are the photo and receipt uploads for?
If your property has damage or you've paid for repairs, Pro and Max let you attach photos and receipts. They're added to an appendix in your report as supporting evidence for a lower value.
